Santa Claus!

Clay Rockets
As part of our Solar System unit on space, Mrs McLeod came and helped us make some rockets out of clay. It was lots of fun shaping the clay into a rocket shape.

Spring is here!
We have been learning about spring. We created these blossom trees by tracing and then painting our own hand prints. We used tissues and paint to create the blossoms. We took this poem home to share with our families.

Buddy Readers
A few times a week we have buddy readers from the senior room come to us and help us with our reading. We read them our home reader and they help us with our alphabet and word practise. Then our buddies will read a story to us. We love having our buddies come to visit.

The MOON and Maths
We have been learning about the moon and the number 6. We talked about how craters are made and and then drew 6 craters on our moon and practised our number 6.
The craters of the moon are made from rocks in space called meteors smashing into the moon, making big holes called craters.
Dan the flying man!
We read a story about Dan the flying man who took us on a flying adventure. So we decided to go on an adventure of our own.
